Who Are Andy Ngo Parents?: Andy Ngo, officially known as Andy Cuong Ngo was born in 1986 in Portland, Oregon, United States.

He’s an American conservative journalist, author, and social media influencer known for covering and video-recording demonstrators.

Ngo also works as the editor-at-large of The Post Millennial, a Canadian conservative news website.

He’s also a regular guest on Fox News and has also published columns in the New York Post and The Wall Street Journal.

Ngo for a few years now has been in the news following a civil lawsuit against Rose City Antifa and two of its alleged members, John Hacker and Elizabeth Richter, alleging assault, battery, and emotional distress.

The American conservative journalist filed the lawsuit against Rose City Antifa and five of its alleged members for the beating he received after going undercover at a Portland protest in 2021.

In an update of events, in August 2023, Ngo hit the headlines following the final hearing of the civil case where Jurors rejected the right-wing writer’s attempt to hold two left-wing activists accountable for the beating.

After the long legal battle, the Multnomah County jury of six men and six women deliberated for about five hours before delivering a verdict on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

The Multnomah County Jurors cleared activists John Hacker and Elizabeth Richter of all civil liability. Ngo is said to be seeking $900,000 from the activists.

In a tweet written after the ruling, Ngo said, “Since July 31, I’ve been the plaintiff in a trial in Portland to hold what I still consider to be a violent extremist group and its members accountable for their harmful activities, Andy Ngo v. Rose City Antifa, et al.

Today, the jury returned a disappointing verdict finding John Colin Hacker and Elizabeth Renee Ritcher not liable for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

This case has been frustrating in its complexity, with several defendants settling or being defaulted before they could be made to answer for their repeated assaults against me.

The court dismissed Rose City Antifa on July 14 on the grounds that a nonlegal entity cannot be sued under Oregon law. This sends a dangerous message that violent extremist groups can continue to organize criminal activities in Portland.

We saw this message play out throughout the trial, with court proceedings being delayed or halted due to threats of violence and the need to seal the jurors’ identities following serious concerns over outside efforts to identify them.

Andy Ngo was born in Portland, Oregon, United States to his parents whose identities have never been made public by the American conservative journalist and author.

Ngo’s parents fled Vietnam in 1978 after the collapse of the South Vietnamese government. His parents escaped by boat after they had been forced into labor and re-education camps by the communist government.

The family ended up in Oregon, a new home mostly inhabited by white people. His mother came from an educated middle-class family that ran a jewelry business. His father had been a police officer in a small coastal town in Vietnam.
