Uche Nwaneri Wife: Who was Uche Nwaneri’s Wife? – Uchechukwu Eberechukwu Nwaneri was an American football guard who played for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons.

He attended Purdue University and was drafted by the Jaguars in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He ran the YouTube channel “The Observant Lineman” after retiring.

Nwaneri went to Naaman Forest High School in Garland, Texas, where he played football alongside Melvin Bullitt.

On July 8, 2003, Nwaneri committed to Purdue University. Kentucky and Texas A&M also offered Uche Nwaneri FBS scholarships.

Nwaneri saw limited action as a rookie during the Jaguars’ playoff run in 2007, appearing in nine games with one start. The following season, he was promoted to starter following the injury of starting guard Vince Manuwai.

During the 2008 season, he appeared in 15 games, 15 of which he started. During the season, he allowed 4.5 sacks.

Nwaneri and fellow guard Maurice Williams competed for the starting guard position in 2009, competing against the returning Vince Manuwai. Nwaneri was appointed, and Williams was deactivated for the majority of the season before being released on December 5, 2009.

Nwaneri started 13 of the 16 games he played in. He was only given credit for one-half of a sack. During the 2009 season, Nwaneri was not also penalized.

Nwaneri debuted on March 4, 2014. On June 25, 2014, Nwaneri signed with the Dallas Cowboys. On August 30, 2014, he was released as part of the final roster cuts.

He died as a result of acute heart failure after collapsing at his wife’s home in West Lafayette, Indianapolis. It was also revealed that his wife discovered him unconscious in a bedroom and dialed 911.

According to the Lafayette Journal and Courier, an autopsy revealed no evidence of foul play. He reportedly died on December 30, 2022.
