Steven Bochco is a New York-born US television writer and producer with a net worth of $150 million. Born on December 16th, 1943, he is credited with being the producer of multiple hit series which include LA Law, Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue, and Doogie Howser, M.D.”

Bochco went to school in Manhattan where he enrolled at the High School of Music and Art after which he enrolled at the Carnegie Institute of Technology in 1961 where he studied theater and playwriting. He went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater in 1966 but he also has an MCA Writing Fellowship to boot.

Bochco started working for Universal Pictures as a writer then went onto become a story editor. He wrote the story and even the teleplay for Colombo: Murder by the book released in 1971 and the 1968 movie The counterfeit Killer. In 1978, he left Universal for MTM Enterprises where he took the role of a producer. His biggest success came from the police drama Hill Street Blues that ran from 1981-1987.
