Youtuber & Twitch star Pyrocynical has recently been soft banned from Twitch & fans are going into a frenzy over the news.

Pyrocynical is an English commentary YouTuber who was formerly noted as one of the early adopters of well-known commentary forms, such as colorful borders surrounding video snippets presented during videos.

Despite months of reported quiet from his local Partnerships team, YouTube sensation Niall ‘Pyrocynical’ Comas has lashed out against Twitch for abruptly removing his Partnership status.

Why Is Pyrocynical Banned On Twitch? What Did He Do?

Pyrocynical ultimately obtained the tick next to his name in 2022, but not by traditional methods, after dedicating himself for over a year and applying for Partner four times along the road.

Not only has the Partnership been withdrawn, but Pyrocynical’s Affiliate status has been revoked as well, denying him access to several basic features, which also included a Subscription button on his channel.

The content creator provided four times in which he applied throughout 2021, providing proof of every interaction with the EMEA Partnership team. The first time was in April, the second time was in September, and the third time was in November.

He seems to have met the standards regarding both viewership and hours of streaming on four occasions. The scenario became more complex in the final application. Pyrocynical stated that his local Twitch reps “never answered” rather than refusing his Partnership.

Instead, Pyrocynical took matters into his own hands and recruited a new management firm to contact Twitch’s North American Partnerships team. This firm was able to get Partnership status for his Twitch account on their first try. However, it didn’t last long since the EMEA team quickly learned of it.

Pyrocynical allegedly neglected to disclose the “rejection of the application by the EMEA Partnership team,” according to the necessary detail. 

Due to this misunderstanding, plus months of inactivity from his local team, all Partner and Affiliate incentives have been removed from his Twitch account.
