Pierre Turgeon Wife: Who Is Elisabeth Turgeon?: Born on August 28, 1969, Pierre Turgeon, officially known as Pierre Julien Turgeon is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player.

He developed a passion for playing ice hockey at a younger age and was consistent throughout his career rising through the ranks to become one of the most sought-after ice hockey players.

At the time of this writing (Thursday, June 22, 2023), Turgeon is retired and currently works as a professional ice hockey coach.

During his professional ice hockey career, he was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres as the first overall pick in the 1987 National Hockey League (NHL) Entry Draft.

Turgeon played in the National Hockey League for the Buffalo Sabres, New York Islanders, Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Dallas Stars, and Colorado Avalanche.

On July 1, 2001, Turgeon joined the Dallas Stars as a free agent, and on August 3, 2005, he joined the Colorado Avalanche as a free agent.

In November 2005, Turgeon became the 34th player in NHL history to score 500 goals. He announced his retirement from the NHL on September 5, 2007.

Following his retirement, he embarked on a coaching career, and on July 10, 2017, Turgeon was named the offensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Kings.

On June 8, 2018, the Kings announced that they had accepted Turgeon’s resignation to leave the organization due to family reasons.

Following his resignation, not much has been heard of him and there’s also no information on the team he coaches. However, Turgeon will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame this year (2023)
