‘Over Again’ is My Biggest Commercial Song- Rapper Edem

Written by Ava Wright — 0 Views

Rapper Edem has revealed that his 2011 hit song ‘Over Again’ is his biggest commercial song to date while in the studios of Hitz FM for a recent interview.

Edem made the disclosure while disclosing how rap and Hiphop songs have waned considerably over the past few years and the fact that he never made any money from rap music.

According to the indigenous rapper, most of his songs that became hits have very little rap elements but lots of singing.

“My rap songs never paid. My endorsement wasn’t because of rap. My biggest song is ‘Nyornuviade’… the biggest moneymaker is my ‘Over Again’ song and ‘Koene’,” he said.

Edem apportioned the blame on Hiphop fans who don’t support their idols religiously as opposed to the prevailing situation about Afrobeat artistes. He also blamed DJs for not promoting the genre.

On the same platform, he was on hand to pass a very important message to Andy Dosty of Hitz FM who asked him why most musicians are womanizers.

Without mincing words, the Ghanaian rapper and pride of the Volta Region said men were actually programmed to chase women indiscriminately.

According to him, womanizing is not limited to musicians as footballers, doctors, DJs, and even the president all love women. His reply to the question has ignited the internet up in flames and we guess you might also join the conversation when you come across the thread online.

His quote was captured by the official Twitter page of Hitz FM as seen below;
