Ja Morant Parents: Meet Tee Morant And Jamie Morant – During the summer of his sophomore season in 2018, scouts began to take notice of Ja Morant. Morant was one of 20 players chosen to attend Chris Paul’s Elite Guard Camp, which he called an “honor.”
Morant took over as Murray State’s leader after the departures of key players Jonathan Stark and Terrell Miller during his sophomore season.
