Rajon Pierre Rondo is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association.

Rajon Rondo played two years of college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats before being drafted 21st overall by the Phoenix Suns in the 2006 NBA draft and subsequently traded to the Celtics in a draft-day trade.

Rajon Rondo is a two-time NBA champion and four-time NBA All-Star. Rajon Rondo has earned four NBA All-Defensive Team honors including two First Team honors, and was named to the All-NBA Third Team in 2012.

After 8½ seasons with the Celtics, Rajon Rondo was traded to the Dallas Mavericks in December 2014.

Following a tumultuous five-month with the Dallas Mavericks, Rajon Rondo joined the Sacramento Kings in 2015 and then the Chicago Bulls in 2016, the New Orleans Pelicans in 2017 and the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018 with whom he won his second NBA title in 2020.

On August 31, 2021, Rondo signed a one-year deal to return to the Lakers.
