Jeff had to do an open heart surgery in 2012 which was very successful and did not hinder him from playing the amazing sport.

He was drafted into the NBA as the 5th overall pick in Round 1 during the 2007 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics. However, they traded him to the Seattle SuperSonics right after his draft.

Green had a good run with the Sonics until he was traded back to Boston Celtics in 2011. He stayed there for four good years before departing.

Jeff Green then traveled from team to team ranging from Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Clippers, Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, Washington Wizards, Utah Jazz, Houston Rockets, and Brooklyn Nets until he eventually joined the Denver Nuggets.
