Mark Chmura is one of the most popular and richest American football tight end who was born on February 22, 1969 in Deerfield, Massachusetts, United States. Mark William Chmura (born February 22nd in 1969) is an ex- American tight end in the football field, who played the entirety of his professional career for the Green Bay Packers (1992-1999). In his time of playing his nickname was Chewy. He won the Super Bowl XXXI playing for his team, the Packers against his home team which was that of the New England Patriots.

Chmura was diagnosed with a life-threatening rupture of the C5 disc and his C6 disk within the cervical vertebrae. Chmura had to be released by the Packers in the year 2000. Following being released, Chmura made to make a comeback, with Washington Redskins and the New Orleans Saints being interested however, he suffered an injury recurrence when he was working out in his gym and ended up retiring. In his eight seasons with the Packers, Chmura finished his career in the top three spots in the history of the franchise, in tight ends, with 188 receptions, 2,253 yards and 17 touchdowns across 89 games. In 2010 Chmura was inducted into Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.

From 2005 to 2009, Chmura worked as a research assistant for the Boyle Law Group. He was also an assistant football coach at Waukesha West High School, where his son, Dylan, played tight end, and son Dyson also played at Waukesha West. Dylan also played for Michigan State University. In 2017, Chmura was hired as the offensive coordinator of Greenfield High School under head coach Keith Ringelberg.

Chmura divorced in 2010 from his former wife Lynda Stickler. In 2011, Chmura married Angela Goff. Currently, the Chmuras and their children reside in Wisconsin. Along with his spouse Angela, Chmura owns a chain of auto collision repair businesses.

On April 8, 2000, Chmura was charged with sexually assaulting a 17-year-old babysitter from his child. Chmura was tried, but was did not find guilty of any charges. After being cleared of child enticement and third degree sexual assault Chmura confessed that his behaviour at a post-prom event “wasn’t something a married man should do.”
