Lily Allen Children: Meet Ethel And Lily: Lily Allen, officially known as Lily Rose Beatrice Allen is an English singer, songwriter, and actress born in Hammersmith, London, United Kingdom on May 2, 1985.

In 2015, she professionally kicked off her music career when she made some of her vocal recordings public on Myspace and the publicity resulted in airplay on BBC Radio 1 and a contract with Regal Recordings.

She released her first mainstream single, ‘Smile in 2006 which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart. This was followed by her debut album, ‘Alright, Still’ with which she sold over 2.6 million copies worldwide.

Her role in the hugely patronized play, ‘2:22 A Ghost Story’ bagged her a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for Best Actress. Although young, Allen has risen through the ranks to become one of the most sought-after actresses.
