Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos’ Kids Make Rare Appearance on Live Show

Written by Emily Ross — 0 Views

Well, well, well! Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ kids decided to pop up on “Live with Kelly and Mark.” This was a rare treat for the audience. The couple’s two oldest offspring, Michael, 26, and Lola, 22, joined their parents for a festive cooking segment on the morning show.

Kelly was thrilled, exclaiming, “The chickens are back in the coop for the holidays!” The audience went wild. Before they dove into the gingerbread cookie baking, Kelly and Mark got a life update from their kids.

Michael’s doing great. He’s living in Brooklyn and has been producing for “The Real Housewives” for about two years now. Lola, on the other hand, is loving life in London and continues to make music.

They all seemed to be having a blast. But there was a noticeable absence. The youngest Consuelos, 20-year-old Joaquin, was MIA. He’s currently wrapping up his semester at the University of Michigan.

The family was all smiles as Lola and Michael tried to guide their parents through the cookie-making process. Kelly even playfully asked Lola, “Do you know what you’re saying or are you just saying words?”

Throughout the segment, the family shared laughs, hugs, and a few good-natured jabs. Michael teased Lola for interrupting their mom with a question about refrigerating the dough.

Eventually, the famed family was able to show off their finished product. They even made a gingerbread man dedicated to their missing fifth family member, “little Joaquin.” Kelly was delighted, exclaiming, “Oh my God, Joaquin’s here in spirit!”

The “All My Children” alums don’t often bring their kids on the show, but they do talk about them frequently. Lola made a solo appearance in October, even though she’d previously asked her parents not to show her on the hit morning show.
