Jurriën Timber parents-Dutch footballer, Jurriën David Norman Timber was born on June 17, 2001.

Born in Utrecht, Netherlands, Timber is of Aruban and Curaçaoan ancestry, as is his twin brother Quinten Timber who is also a football player.

Their father is from Curaçao and their mother Marilyn is from Aruba, both of which are in the Dutch Caribbean’s ABC Islands.

The family chose to choose their maternal name Timber rather than their father’s last name, Maduro, because of previous events. Shamier, Chris, and Dylan are the three elder brothers of the twins.

Jurriën Timber career

At the age of four, Timber began competing for the Utrecht-based club DVSU. At the age of six, he joined the Feyenoord youth program.

He joined Ajax in 2014, where he signed his first contract as a professional in 2018. On March 7, 2020, Timber made his Ajax senior debut in a 3-1 victory over SC Heerenveen.

On May 2, 2021, he scored his first goal for Ajax against Emmen. It served as the first goal in a final victory of 4-0. With that outcome, Ajax was crowned Eredivisie champions for a record-breaking 35th time.

Timber represented the Netherlands in youth international football in the under-15, under-16, under-17, under-19, and under-21 age groups.

He got chosen for the Netherlands senior team to compete at UEFA Euro 2020. On June 2, 2021, against Scotland in a friendly, he started his first game for the team.
