Another season of Doctor Who is among us, which means plenty of interdimensional adventures and a brand new team. Jodie Whittaker will be playing the 13th Doctor, making her the first woman to play the Doctor in the 54 years the show has aired.

The trailer begins with a startled Jodie, probably acknowledging her new and very different regeneration from previous doctor, Peter Capaldi. The rest of the trailer follows Jodie’s journey on meeting her three new best friends; Yasmin (Mandip Gill), Ryan (Tosin Cole) and Graham (Bradley Walsh).

“New faces, new worlds, new times. So if I asked really, really, nicely, would you be my new best friends?”

The newest season will have 10 episodes, each 50 minutes or longer. There is still no release date, however, we are promised to have it debut this fall.
