According to US authorities, a 20-year-old man shot five people in the food court of a suburban Indianapolis shopping center before assembling a rifle in the restroom.

Jonathan killed three of them before being shot dead by an armed shopper.

The court file also states that Sapirman, 22, has a history of criminal activity. These records demonstrate that he had a history of assaults against children, including incidents at school.

In 2019, both parents made court appearances to request custody of Jonathan.
