According to a video shared online, a large number of students crowded the fourth-floor hallway at the Public University of El Alto near the Bolivian capital on Tuesday morning and the pressure mounted on the rails of the balcony forced it to break thereby resulting to the fall of the students as they lost their balance.

According to a report by Theinfong, three died on the spot after landing on the ground while four others died at the hospital due to the severity of the injuries sustained.
