Guy Benjamin is one of the most popular and richest American Football Player who was born on June 27, 1955 in Los Angeles, California, United States. He is now residing in Hawaii in the state of Hawaii, where he served as of the offensive team of Hawaii’s University of Hawaii football team for a time. The year 1988 was the time he was slated to become the coach for the WIFL’s Las Vegas Aces, but the league was disbanded before it was able to get off the ground. The Aces attempt to join with the Arena Football League was turned down, meaning that the Aces never played in a game. He also managed his team the Hawaii Hammerheads of the Indoor Professional Football League to the league championship in 1999, which was the team’s sole season. Then, he became an IPFL’s first coach in the head position. Portland Prowlers before returning to Hawaii and coached players from the junior league Hawaiian Islanders of the Arena Football League Af2.

After the end of the sport of football Benjamin was the director of Athletes United for Peace a non-profit organisation founded by Olympic athletes following an U.S. decision to boycott the Moscow Olympics. Benjamin also created his own organization, the Sports in Society Institute at the New College of California, and directed the degree-completion program for former athletes.

Benjamin was chosen to the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 1978 NFL Draft. He played for two seasons with Bob Griese and Don Strock after which he spent one time as an Archie Manning’s back-up the New Orleans Saints. He was again reunited to Bill Walsh when he joined the San Francisco 49ers in 1981 and was awarded an Super Bowl ring as Joe Montana’s backup Super Bowl XVI.

As of 2012, he is Executive Director of the Hawaii Medical College.
