Her comments comes after the controversial Dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale lamented about the fact that stakeholders in the entertainment industry like DJs are not being supported and appreciated enough in order for them to play their parts by promoting their songs effectively.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Doty on Hitz Fm’s Daybreak Hitz, Diana’s Hamilton intimated that it is very essential for musicians to establish a rapport with other stakeholders who contribute to their success in their music careers.
She said that musicians must learn to appreciate the people who work with them to get their songs trending in the country.
The “Adom” hitmaker said;I think it is important. It is really important to establish great relationships with the people that work with us and if someone is helping you it is important that you appreciate them for the work to go on.”
In other news, bloggers, promoters, media personalities and other stakeholders have also complained bitterly about the ungrateful ness of some musicians. Some musicians can barely thrive in the industry without the help of these stakeholders yet they have refused to show appreciation for their efforts in pushing their career to the top.
