Tyler Scheidt Obituary: Tyler lost his life tragically in a traffic crash Wednesday morning. The varsity basketball player was known as a very good person and was loved by everyone he knew.

Tyler was killed in a four-vehicle crash after being hit by a vehicle crossing the ridge Road around 10:30 in the morning on the 19th of August. He was then rushed to the Community Hospital immediately but couldn’t survive due to the severity of the injuries.

The Authorities also reported that four other victims from the incident got hurt from the accident.

Tyler Scheidt was 21 years old of age he became the victim of a horrible accident.

He was a young man with a bright future in basketball but could not survive the injuries sustained from the crash. Scheidt’s family has been going through a terrible loss and has not spoken many details about the young man.

He was born and raised in Anderson, Indiana. The basketball player attended Highland High School, where he played varsity basketball for Highland Trojans from 2015 till he graduated with honors in 2019.

He was currently enrolled at the Wabash college as a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. Besides basketball, he was also an outstanding tennis player.

The whole Highland school community was devastated to learn about his tragic death and showed their respect for him by gathering together and holding a vigil in his honor.

They even wore an orange t-shirt from Highland Parks and recreation, where Scheidt had worked for three years to tribute to the former Highland student.

Tyler Scheidt’s parents are Damon and Donna Scheidt.

His mother, the Donna, has been an eighth-grade English teacher for the Highland Middle School for 25 years.

The varsity player’s brother Carmen is also a basketball player in the school and is set to go to Wabash College in Crawfordsville to further his basketball career after graduation this year.

His whole family has been residing in Indiana and is treated as a family of the Highland community.

It is not confirmed whether Tyler has a girlfriend or not.

But the young basketball player has many friends who remembered him as a goofy and most kind-hearted person. His friend Justin Bogner stated that he was the goofiest and kindest person that anyone could ever imagine.

Tyler’s other friend Zac Pizer added that he would light up the room with his contagious smile and talked more about his goofy personality.

Katy Bedka, his best friend from 15 years, said,” He was the best person I have ever met. He never had a mean thing to say about anyone.”

Tyler definitely was a gem to his community which is why many people came together to mourn his sudden death and remember him as the wonderful guy he was.

There is even a GoFundMe page made in his name to collect money for his funeral expenses. Many people have donated their money, and they have been able to raise over $11,000, which is more for their $10,000 goal.
