Elena Rybakina Bio, Parents, Husband, Children, Siblings: Elena Rybakina, officially known as Elena Andreyevna Rybakina is a Kazakhstani professional tennis player.

She developed a love for tennis at a younger age and at the age of 15, she started playing on the ITF Women’s Circuit (2014). Elena reached three ITF finals in singles and two in doubles winning both doubles finals in 2017 during his junior circuit.

In October 2017, she made her WTA Tour debut at the Kremlin Cup, where she reached the main draw through qualifying but lost in the opening round to Irina-Camelia Begu. However, that same year (2017), she reached two junior Grand Slam semifinals and won a Grade-A title at the Trofeo Bonfiglio.

At her next WTA tournament in February 2018, Elena won her first WTA Tour match at the St. Petersburg Trophy against Timea Bacsinszky. In June of the same year (2018), Elena switched federations from Russia to Kazakhstan.

Her first consistent success on the WTA Tour came in mid-2019 and was highlighted by her first WTA title at the Bucharest Open as well as her top 100 debuts. She’s currently the reigning champion at Wimbledon making her the first Kazakhstani player to win a title at a major.

Elena is also the first Kazakhstani player to be ranked in the world’s top 15, with a career-high ranking of No. 12 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), and the current Kazakhstani No. 1 player in women’s singles.

She has reached eight other finals on the WTA Tour, including three at the WTA 500 level, winning two titles. In January 2023, Elena Rybakina made major headlines when she made it through to the semi-finals of the Australian Open.
