In a sad report, award-winning Journalist and General Manager of Citi FM and Citi TV, Bernard Koku Avle has sadly lost his wife, Justine Avle.

At the time of this report, details about the death were not available and we will be doing our best to bring groundbreaking insights, however, the sad incident occurred on August 3 after she suffered a short illness and it reportedly occurred when Bernard Avle was getting ready to host the Point of View.

The renowned media personality who is the host of the Citi Breakfast Show on Citi FM and Point of View Show on Citi TV married Justine in 2011.

She and the astute journalist had four kids together.

Born on 20 May 1981, Bernard Avle completed his basic education at the University of Ghana Primary School Legon and later had his secondary school education at the prestigious Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School.

He then got admission into the University of Ghana, Legon where he obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Economics with distinction. He further went to the Warwick Business School in the UK as a Chevening Scholar to obtain his MBA in Marketing.

His popularity grew massively in 2017 when together with Citi Fm launched a campaign against illegal small scale mining also known as Galamsey which has destroyed Ghana’s water bodies over the years.
