Cedi Breaks The 8; Sells At GHc8.12
There have been agitations from Ghanaians as the Ghana cedi has finally broken the 8 mark as it sells at GHc8.12 according to AfriSwap Bureau De Change, Accra.
According to the reports, the dollar is currently selling at 8.12 while the UK pound is currently selling at 10.25. The Euro is also at GHc8.55 and buying at GH8.53.

Ghanaians have shown concern over the deteriorating manner the economy has reached and have called out vice president Bawumia to put his accounting thoughts together and stabilize the economy as he promised before resuming office.

Meanwhile, the vice president of GUTA, Clement Boateng, in an interview on Citi News called on the government to stabilize the economy. He also suggested some measures that can be considered by the government.
“Everything that we do is benchmarking on the dollar and we think the government must do something about the situation. If we talk about the telcos, the oil, and extractive sectors, at the end of the year, they are repatriating their profits back, and you can see the chunk of monies they take from here so the government must look at its investments laws”, he said.
