She was quick to make the post after law enforcement agencies in various countries including the Nigerian police force reaffirmed their commitment to protecting all women. In an official message posted by the Nigerian police on social media, they described women as intelligent, strong, courageous, undaunted, and dependable.

This was the juncture that stirred Tinuade’s emotions as she reveals how one officer harassed her contrary to the objective they just trumpeted.

“One of your officers told me he was taking me to the station at 2 am to suck my boobs.   Get out of my sight with this nonsense.” she wrote on Twitter.
