Baby Daddy centers around a young bachelor named Ben Wheeler. His life instantly changes when he learns that he is a father to six-month-old Emma. Ben raises Emma with help from his brother Danny, his mother Bonnie, and his friends Tucker and Riley.

The show stars Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Derek Theler, Tahj Mowry, Melissa Peterman and Chelsea Kane.

On Monday, The Freeform network announced that Baby Daddy will be renewed for a sixth season. The renewal will bring the series to its 100th episode. As of June 22, 2016, a total of 83 episodes of Baby Daddy have aired.

Executive Karey Burke states:

The lines between family and friends are so wonderfully crossed in ‘Baby Daddy.’ You can always count on the Wheeler clan for a big laugh along with heartfelt moments.

In an interview with TVLine, creator Dan Berendsen states that Danny and Riley’s relationship will be “100 percent resolved before the end of [Season 5], and you’ll see a great new adventure for them.” He added that their current conflict “will ultimately make them a stronger couple.”

Many of the cast and crew then took to social media to express their excitement about the season renewal.

The second half of season 5 premiered on June 1, and will air until August.
