Andy Ruiz Jr Backs Tyson Fury To Beat Anthony Joshua

Written by Emily Ross — 0 Views

Mexican boxer, Andy Ruiz Jr has tipped the ‘Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury to beat his greatest nightmare, Anthony Joshua in their proposed match this summer.

The Mexican fighter who faced the wrath of the unifier in the ring in 2019 has said he sees Fury winning the match and the four title belts because he wasn’t impressed with Joshua’s last fight with Kubrat Pulev in December 2020.

Speaking with Little Giant Box ing, Ruiz Jr said admitted it will be an interesting fight but confident Fury’s skills and height will help him outbox Anthony Joshua in the ring.

I think that it’s gonna be an interesting fight. I fought Anthony Joshua, I haven’t fought Tyson Fury. Tyson Fury has a real style, he’s tall, he fights tall.

I kinda see Tyson Fury winning that fight. I wasn’t too impressed with Anthony Joshua’s last performance, but he got the job done.

I think maybe Tyson Fury might get him, depends how awkward he is. If he boxes – Anthony hasn’t fought anybody that boxes around and moves around, so we’ll see.”
