Adam Laxalt Wife: Meet Jaime Laxalt – Adam Laxalt is the grandson of Reno-born former Republican Nevada Governor and U.S. Senator Paul Laxalt.

His father’s paternity was not publicly acknowledged until 2013, and his mother raised him as a single parent. His father, Domenici acknowledged at the time that Laxalt was his son from an extramarital affair.

Laxalt attended Tulane University after graduating from St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School, an Alexandria, Virginia college preparatory school.

He transferred to Georgetown University after two years at Tulane, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and government in 2001. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center in 2005.

Adam Laxalt worked for then-Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Affairs John R. Bolton before joining the office of Virginia U.S. Senator John Warner.

Laxalt worked at the law firm Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie’s Reno office after leaving Washington until 2014 when he left to focus on his attorney general campaign.

He spent five years in the United States Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps. He worked as an assistant law professor at the United States Naval Academy and at Naval Air Station Sigonella in Italy.

Laxalt was arrested for driving under the influence. He admitted that he struggled with drinking during his adolescence. He sought treatment at the Hazelden Foundation and claims to be sober now.

Adam Laxalt is married to Jaime Laxalt. They have been married for quite some time now and they have four children. The names of two of the children are Sophia Laxalt, and Isabella Laxalt. In a Facebook post made in 2017, Adam celebrated his wife, Jaime with the words;

“Happy birthday to my beautiful wife, Jaime. Thanks for being an amazing wife to me and mother to Isabella and Sophia.”
